️ Chaat Gali - Great Tea, Disappointing Food ️I was really looking forward to trying Chaat Gali after hearing about its Pakistani and Indian street food, but honestly, it was a real letdown, especially when I took my Indian friends there, hoping for an authentic experience. The tea? I have to give credit where it’s due—it’s fantastic. They make a really good cup of tea, rich in flavour, but the portion is disappointingly small. If they focused less on the food and made bigger portions of tea, it could easily be their star attraction and main selling point. But unfortunately, the food was subpar. The loaded fries were especially bad—undercooked, soggy, and looked like someone had haphazardly sprayed sauce on top. No crisp, no texture, just a mess. It was really disappointing, particularly considering we were expecting so much more. The rest of the food was basic at best—small portions, nothing that stands out, and nothing filling. The presentation felt careless, and the flavours didn’t hit the mark. It’s the kind of food you forget the moment you leave. I was embarrassed to have brought my Indian mates here because the experience just didn’t live up to the hype. While the service was decent and the interior design was appealing, it’s a shame the food didn’t match the atmosphere. If you're considering going, maybe just stop in for the tea—but don’t expect much more from the food. If anything, the food was the real letdown.
